Everytime I restart Firefox, the homepage changes to http://en-US.start3.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial, and it opens two tabs - that, and this.
It also changes the "Downloads" to "save files to [Downloads]" command, and it's VERY annoying.
Whether I change all these options or not, when I take off Firefox and open it again, it all comes back :/
    I have the newest update.
    Please help ASAP!

You might have done what I did-I accidently ticked off the bos to auto save files -___-

    And I can't untick it :(

Ad for the tabs opening-do you always close off all tabs running before exiting or just straight shut down-mine does that only if I shut off my laptop while browsing with tabs running.

Any changes I make revert back to the old option, so no matter what tabs are open, when I close it, it gets reset, and the new tabs are opened next time I start Firefox.

    No.
Any changes I make within Firefox's options are reset every time I restart Firefox.
Waiting for someone like Anandjones, he most likely has the solution to what's wrong.

    Sounds like a preference file issue. Go to your Profile folder;

C:\Users\Account\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles (Vista listing, will be different in XP etc.), and go into the folder with '.Default User'. Backup your prefs.js file somewhere, and delete the original in the profile folder. Restart/open Firefox, which will automatically create a new one.

To see the AppData folder, you will need hidden files and folders to be shown (in Folder Options).

    Thanks, Anand!

Listing as in the directories will be changed between OSs, XP may be C:\Documents and Settings\ etc.

    XP will be c:\documents and settings\username\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles and c:\documents and settings\username\local settings\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles

    Hey guys!
It works now, I had to reinstall it then delete the prefs.js file, and then it was good :D

    Please lock!
