Question about 0shippingzone.com...

Is this site legit? I found it through the Supercard website for DSTwo distribution, and placed an order. I never got a confirmation e-mail about the order, which I initially blew off as I had read a great review about this store on GBAtemp. Anyway this was on Wednesday I believe, and by yesterday I was getting a little concerned that I still hadn't received anything. I went to the store to check "My account", but the password wasn't working. Strange, but hey, maybe I just forgot it? I tried their "Password recovery" option which confirmed an e-mail was sent to my account. I checked and...nothing. I waited. Usually this stuff is automated so after 6+ hours I'd have thought it would be here by now. And yes, for both e-mails I checked spam and trash folders as well. I decided to see if I could contact them directly to politely ask about the status of my order. Funny enough, their "Contact us" page is blank. This set off all sorts of red flags to me, but I found an e-mail for them eventually: [email protected]

I wrote them, but I was just hoping someone could confirm that they're a legit/good site and that I don't need to call my credit card company to start fraud protection services. I'd love to hear that I'm just being paranoid.

If this is in the wrong section my apologies there, and thanks for any replies.

Looks like you may have run into a scam.

Great...thanks. Good thing I did it through my credit card via paypal and not my bank account. The review I had read was this so I was hoping someone could tell me that it was legit. Blah...

Better to find out now than later. At least you can get your credit card order invalidated.
I checked some other links as well, and they all say scam pretty much throughout.
One person spent four hundred dollars and got a broken DS, with but one screen working.

I'm glad I could help so nothing major would have happened, and it's a great mental move to ask in advance as well.

I would suggest this. Make a new topic asking your question in the Flashcart/card help section.
Someone will gladly help you on this matter. I , myself don't use them, so I cannot be of assistance. But I do hope you find what it is you're looking for and watch out for scams dude.

 

i doubt it was a scam seeing several replies at GBA Temp seem to indicate the site was legit at one point, but i could been abandoned and hijacked

think about it. There are actually good sites out there for flashcards/carts. Just none that I know of

 

shoptemp is an example, well was they arent seeling flashcars anymore, there seem to be decent links, amazon had a few, ebay probably has a ton, and mercadolibre has a few too

peoblem is that shoptemp aint seeling the stuff, GBAtemp is the only site with something even close to trusty links.

and im i a similar predicament im wanting a dstwo also but since i live in venezuela i need a place that ships to south america and either accepts american dollars or tis equivalent on my country currency

Thanks for the responses, both of you I guess I'll wait a couple of days to see if my e-mail gets a response, and if I still haven't gotten either a response or any tracking information I'll have to take it up with the credit card company. And if that time comes I'll probably make a topic in the flashcart forum to ask for a reliable source (didn't mean to go off topic).

 

NP there is the chance that they are a slow response site, to give it 3 more days, but make sure you arent in the limit days (some denounces/reclaims can only be done within a number of days and im not too sure about this one, depends on your country laws, check it to be sure)

Well I actually got a response and a tracking number today, so hopefully it will turn out well. Said I should be able to track it after a couple days, which is reasonable, the same thing happens with the USPS sometimes. I did have a bit of a double take at my order being referred to as the "goods" though, but as long as it gets to me and works I'm not complaining

For those interested I'll be sure to update here if and when I get my package so others know whether or not the site is reliable.

 

Well, i bought my acekard 2i from 0shippingzone and i got it, it takes a while though
But the point is i got it, and i actually ordered from there more than once and i got both items

 

Though the real question is, why wait so long for it to ship, and order from there again?

Pay the same price, and no shipping, wait 3-5months, or pay shipping, and get it in less than a week, which do you prefer? I think 0shippingzone is shit...

 

Granted I'm not happy about how it started out, but apparently according to USPS tracking the package is about two towns over from me, meaning it should get to me tomorrow or tuesday. Considering it shipped from Honk Kong on the 7th...that's insane. 1 week turnaround or less from HK to NY two weeks before Christmas?

Now I just have to hope it's a legit cart. Any idea how to tell the difference? I'm assuming "it won't work" will be pretty obvious and top the list
