Some of you are also unwilling to use Pal Park (like me), or for some other reason you don't want to or can't get this done. CONFIRMED BY: mikeac nemesis11 ============================================================================================================== Materials: A way to emulate DS roms Absolutely NO AR CODES. None. Period. Both roms: Heart Gold AND Soul Silver Two different folders with one game (and save, if not using emulator) in one folder, the other in another folder. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pokemon with Surf & Rock Climb Lots of pokeballs Patience IMPORTANT Obtained National Dex Defeated Red GAMEFAQS SAVES (Possibly incomplete): SoulSilver Save Data (J/E) HeartGold Save Data (U/E) I have a HG (J) save that is past Red, will upload later today. My bro's SS save... not so much. You can use the (J) save data in the (U) version if you convert and rename it, or if you are using the patched (J) version. If you have the (E) version, renaming the save may work (unconfirmed). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BACK UP YOUR SAVES BEFORE CONTINUING Make sure Red has been defeated, you have 16 badges, and the National Dex Step 1: Get the Kanto starters from Prof. Oak. He is in Pallet Town (I think) Step 2: Go to Mr. Pokemon at the top of Route 30 next to Violet City. Step 3: He will give you the Red(SS)/Blue(HG) orb. Step 4: Go to Route 47. Take Cianwood City into a cave. Step 5: Exit the Cave into Route 47 into the first cave you see and head down. Surf left past two waterfalls in between two rocks. Rock Climb upwards and head into the Hidden Cave. Step 6: Battle and catch Groudon(SS)/Kyogre(HG). YOU MUST CATCH IT TO GET RAYQUAZA!!!! Step 7: Save and exit the game in the Hidden Cave. Step 8a: *EMULATOR* Find your save on your computer. (BATTERY folder) Step 8b: *FLASHCARD* Insert your Micro SD card from your flashcard into the computer and find the save. Step 9: Rename your save to the name of the opposite game. (EX. HeartGold.sav to SoulSilver.sav) Step 10: Play up the ROM that is the opposite of what you used to catch Kyogre/Groudon. ie. The game which the name of the save is changed to. Step 11: Battle and catch Kyogre/Groudon. YOU MUST CATCH THEM TO GET RAYQUAZA!!! Step 12: Save your game, and repeat steps 8 and 9, and continue to the next section, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time to catch Rayquaza. Make SURE you have both legend Pokemon in your party. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Step 1: Go to Professor Oak's to receive the Green Orb. Step 2: Go to the Hidden Cave YET AGAIN. Step 3: Battle/Catch Rayquaza. DONE! ============================================================================================================== FAQ Q: Do I have to go to Mr. Pokemon to recieve the other orb? A: Nope. Q: You're lying. This FAILS. Right? A: Wrong. Q: So what else can you do with the renamed save? (EMULATOR) Step 8b: Insert your Micro SD card from your flashcard into the computer and locate the Sav on the computer. Step 9: Rename your SAV to the name of the opposite game. THIS IS NORMAL. (EX. Heart Gold .sav to the name of your SoulSilver ROM and vice versa.) EXPLANATION: The other game will detect it to be a normal sav, as long as its the same as the ROM. Step 10: Boot up that ROM that you changed the .SAV's name to. Step 11.1 (UNCONFIRMED): Go to Mr. Pokemon again to receive your other ORB. Step 11.2: Go to the Hidden Cave again and battle and Catch Kyogre/Groudon. Again: YOU MUST CATCH THEM TO GET RAYQUAZA!!! Step 12: Save your game, and repeat steps 8 and 9. When I go back to Mr. Pokemon he just says something in Japanese and doesn't give me the other orb. I am using an emulator and my original game I played was Pokemon SoulSilver. The only other idea I can think of is to have someone with a HeartGold save file that has caught the Kyogre legit. Then Pokesaveing it out of the game and loading it up into the SoulSilver save and then trying to get the Green Orb. edit: Crap I think the problem maybe that I saved after catching Groudon.

hey...I wonder this method works for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum or something like SS .sav on Pt??.....And you can catch other pokemon like Latias right??...
