Pictures or Videos? Which one is like better?

    Pictures vs. Videos

Realistically, I am on the video side.

I'll start off, pictures are higher quality than videos and you can zoom onto things, unlike videos which can only go up to 1920X1080 (which is around 1.3MP-2.0MP I think)

    1920x1080 is far higher than 1.3MP. 1.3MP is 1024x768

That might be true, since Hasselblad makes photograph cameras with up to 60MP in resolution. Not sure why would you want that much, since these cameras cost about 20/30k.

HOLY CRAP! 60MP! That is a lot of pixels. Now many pixels is that?

Anyways, as of now, how many MegaPixels is the highest in the markey right now?

Well i like porn videos better than porn pics, because there is a lot more entertainment :p
Seriously though, what do you mean by better?

Each can be used for different purposes; neither is generally "better" than the other. Videos are just still images shown one after the other, the motion of things in the images is fabricated.

    60 MP= 6708x8956 pixels

The highest one is 60MP, which costs a whopping 40,000 $.

    ...that's like a wall...

    Video's.

You can see things better and why the "pictures" are taken.

Damnit! I was too late that was going to be my exact statement!

Anyway now my bubble has be burst, I prefer pics to some degree when it comes to taking things apart say like PSPs but videos are better say for game trailers and such instead of looking at still shots. (screen shots)

Just for comparison things, here's a 45MP photo taken with a Canon EOS-1Ds. This is a 128Mb file, so don't open if your conection is slow. Actual resolution is 7384x6072 pixels:

This is a photo of the same thing, taken with the same camera, but using 10MP instead of 45MP. Actual resolution is 4070x2710 pixels:

I searched for a 50 or even 60MP photo, but didn't found one.

Fortunately no(I'd rather have a good portable camera, like a Panasonic Lumix GF-1 or Nikon D5000). If I could afford this much:

-Canon EOS 1Ds: about 4,000 bucks
-Hasselblad Distagon f14 lens: about 2,800 bucks

I wouldn't be downloading nintendo ds roms or having a flashcard, XD
