so what you see above is what happened to my DS screens after i played golden 007 on the DS it was fine, i launched the edgeworth investigations, and after a while when i was to turn it off, poof! what you see showed up, also i need to mention that the DS was on sleep mode (closed) before i noticed about the problem, is this a dead pixel thing? or do i need to order tow new DS screens and send them somewhere (as i dont know the site where venezuelan nintendos tore is thanks that they changed their number and its now a laundry in a different state)
try this: http://filetrip.net/f763-DiagnoSe.html there is an option for repairing dead pixels there (i believe) if that doesnt work, then maybe you will have to repair the screen
Dead pixels aren't the problem. My brothers DS is like that too, but it's not as bad as yours. The screen turns all white like that if you put it in a certain position. It's like that because you dropped it too much.
@Duncan Idaho it looks like the screen is leaking i would suggest sending it to Nintendo to get it fixed the only way to repair dead pixels is to replace the screen.
[size=8pt] Whoa, it looks like that when you dropped your DS, your LCD cracked in many locations, and it's just now showing, with the pixels acting up in the areas where the small crack(s) are located... My DS did something similar, after being sat on in my back pocket -.- It was fine for a few days then one day, I turned it on and saw similar blotches on my screen, but they were black. You may have to get your screens replaced or just buy another DS.
great, just great, well at least i can play games with it, its not like when my grandma borke both of my first gen GBA's, if its the screen i will have to ask how much it will cost me or if i can get a abttery for my Ds phat and see if i can play my games with it
If you have a DSlite, you can order screens for it from pretty much everywhere. www.shoptemp.com and www.dealextreme.com are two examples.
problem a) i need to buy $ and i need to check the requisites next year, problem b) nintendo said screw you latin america and there are only 2 countries with nintendo stores, mexico and brazil, i live in venezuela, problem c) i need to find somewhere where they actually repair DS's and see how much it will cost me replacing the screens, problem d) it will probably will be equivalent to buy a new DS so im gonna go and take a third option if thing get for the worse get a new battery for my ds phat and play my games on it.
