hey i didnt know u could get like a background thats sik i looked at the site u guys r talkin bout but how do u get it to work on ur ds?

I have a R4I RTS and I can use the skins from http://www.ndsthemes.com/

just make sure that the skins you download have a theme.ini file if they do they will
work on your flashcard try my link to my mega uploadaccount for some skins
most of them have theme.ini file some don't and those don't work quiet
normal if I change my skins to those my screens freezes and you'll
have start your DS again and they will work because then the theme.ini
file will be made or changed

I am quite sure that I have the same card that you described, and I have been able to get the backgrounds from ndsthemes to work fairly well. First find a background. Next you will need to replace the default backgrounds with your chosen background; (in the background folders eg. R4i_skin_1) replace BottomInit with the 'icons' picture, then rename 'icons' to BottomInit ; after this, continue to replace BottomScreen with 'bckgrd_1' (then rename to BottomScreen), and finish by replacing TScreen with 'logo' (then rename to TScreen). You do not need to worry about changing 'theme' configuration settings.
I currently do not know if the (smaller) icons and buttons can be changed. There is no need for 'bckgrd_2', as i do not think this card supports another background frame (as the original R4 does). This should work unless you have a different card. (I am not sure if it makes a difference, but I extracted the background file from ndsthemes before replacing backgrounds.) It takes a bit of work, but I think the result is worth it. It's not perfect, but it is better than the default skins! ;D

alright i downloaded the skin now what if i put it in the "skins" folder on the SD card and go on options to set the background to that it doesn't change
