New OPEN-SOURCE NesDS now supports cheats.

There's a new build of NES DS out! IT SUPPORTS CHEATS! It is also OPEN-SOURCE so developrs can fix its glitches.

Do people need cheats?

I'd rather bug fixes on the emulation first.

Well, the porter made it open-source too, so now anyone with the knowledge can fix the bugs.
So we can expect that too, I guess.

After I posted this on GBATEMP, a user said:

"I've took a look on the cheat thing and seems to be only a simple tool to search and try cheats, but i can't name or save them on a file. It seems to work fine, i tried some cheats in Contra (U) and they work like a charm. "

 

I tried it and it damn worked
but cant save the cheats so you must readd them everytime!

I guess there aren't many interested.

I can't add much becos I don't have my DSTWO yet and my current card (M3PERFECT) really hates NESDS; IT took 6 months and a shitload of luck to get just ONE version to run.

I'll do a bit of testing once I get it tho.

Don't run it on a DSiXL though, no matter what card you got.
