Need HELP! psx chipped

Hey guys
i just downloaded a rom for psx but i got know idea how to burn it on a disk
i am up to the part where i just extracted the zip
and now thers a bin file and images or somethin
and im stuck! so please help me

Get yourself a CD-R,
Download Imgburn from here, http://www.imgburn.com/
and then burn it into the cd using ImgBurn.

 

REMEMBER CAREFULLY ...The burn speed >>>>>MUST<<<<<< be 2x or 4x

well i tried to make it work on my chipped psx but it didnt load....
btw not sure if this matters but im usin a cd-rw

but one last question : do i extract the bin file?

 

You need all files that came with the rar file you got from here, place them in the same place, and img burn ill guide you on which to burn (but you need the files together-some control sound and stuff)


Not sure why it's named bin but it's required, never delete a bin file.

guys i just burned it and tried to run it on my playstation(chipped)
but halfway while it was loading it froze

 

What speed did you burn it at?

Did you listen to Rock91?

 

And were all files from the download kept in the same location?

(I keep mine in a folder called "BURN" so I remember )

 

Xiza listen. You do the following.

1. EXTRACT THE FILES OUT OF THE RAR
2. RUN IMGBURN
3. INSERT CD-R
4. CLICK ''WRITE IMAGE TO DISC''
5. SELECT THE BIN FILE TO BURN
6. SELECT SPEED 2X
7. CLICK BURN
8. WAIT
9. DONATE 5$ TO THE AFRICANS
10. JOIN A SATANIC SECT

i thought you needed to put the cue file on too

 

You need to keep the Cue file in the same folder. You can/should select the cue file when burning (but I'm pretty sure it uses the cue file even if you don't select it, as long as it's in the same folder).

 

errrh it says i should have done the cue file and then it swapped the bin file with the cue file

 

Not an issue. Just let it burn the copy of the game onto the CD-R, at 2x/4x speed.

awww dam i just went to the PlayStation screen where u move memory card stuff
when i loaded it up...

when i select 2x speed it goes up to x8
know how to change it?

 

It doesn't recognize it as a PSX CD, and is loading the BIOS like it would if you turned it on without a CD.

Make sure you are using CD-R and make sure you are choosing the "Write Image File to Disc" option, not the "Write Files/Folder to Disc" option.

 

ok i tried again
but it just stayed at the playstaion stage after it loaded the playstion menu
