    NZ has voted to allow same sex marriage today, great news for my flatmate whos gone out to party!

    About time too. If only Australia would follow... but no. Julia Gillard is too bloody stubborn to listen to anyone else.

    Gillard is actually pretty liberal, and your beloved Tony Abbott is faaaaaar less likely to support gay marriage than she is.

    They need that in America now. The Supreme Court is ruling on the constitutionality of prop 8. Which if it is ruled out of favor then that will set federal precedent and allow for gay marriage to most likely succeed. Then the U.S. will become just a little bit more gay :D.
