I know this is romu and not a pc forum- but i thought that i could get some intelligent advice before looking elsewhere... Its an hp pavilion laptop. It was working perfectly last night- when i booted it up this morning the screen did not turn on- not even flicker. I can hear the normal booting sounds thought and i can type my password and log in and hear it log in... Can a virus do this or is my screen broken? It hasnt left my desk and i treat it well physically- i have tried the function monitor keys and the brightness keys but dont see anything- the screen is definitely off and not on just showing black. It is one year old and running windows 7... Please help!
