Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls [preaired] so what do you think?

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls, a new anime that has come out. Originally I was kinda looking forward to it. Or maybe that just be my [crappy] personal preference. Looks like there will be lots of fanservice, along with heaps of paintblot censorship. Seems like they know how to attract DVD/Blueray sales. Or they can fail as everyone waits for a torrent....

What I'm hoping for anyway is it to be not too crappy.
But anyways, what do you guys think it will be like (any predictions etc?)

 

You've hit the new year of anime head on sir. 90-80% of the new anime this year, and plausibly the next few years, will be fanservice. Its a fad in anime, very similar to the moe blob that we are just now starting to get out of.

 

New fad huh? Better get used to it then, fanservice, it's been noticeable since Seikon no Qwaser and KissxSis and other titles, I haven't paid much attention to it until you mention it now. Haha Moe Blob. K-ON reference. Too bad it finishes in about 4 more episodes. hopefully they'll make a season 3 maybe... Although I kinda doubt it :L

I watched the preair, it doesn't look too bad. although the girl from the sky thing like what many others say, is VERY cliched throughout anime history. Hmm but i like the art. Although the paintblobs kill the fun... Better wait for an ATX air on the 11th October... xD

 

remember the old days when there was little fanservice and more episodes of awesome for each series? yea, i hardly remember... i forgot when anime started transitioning to shiny colors and effects from awesome storyline and gradually improving quality.

 

Same here. However, this is a little bit of hope. Animes like Tegami Baichi (Letter Bee) is pretty good and doesnt really seem to feature fan service. Its pretty bad ass and I'm going to start on the Manga here in a bit.
