"Farting Law" Bill would make passing gas publicly a crime in Malawi, Africa

    Stupidest.Bill.Ever.

    Couldn't they do something more important for Malawi?

    (It might just be a cover-up for the "anti-fortune teller" part though and serve as a hiding shell for the complaints of fighting those who choose that profession they would recieve if they made it a law on its own.)

    That isn't what the law is about. The law makes 'fouling the air' an offence and relates to air pollution from businesses and domestic incinerators etc. The malawi equivalent of a parliament were debating whether or not farting would fall under that definition or not.

    The law is not silly at all. Since farting would not be classed as fouling the air. I hope not anyway

    Indeed this whole matter is so Reminiscent of South Park ;D

    Hey maybe they should Rename Malawi as South Park seeing as their lawmakers are just like South Park's mayor when they decided to make this Law.
