Never mind, turns out it was working fine after I took out all the cords and plugged them back in later.

Yeah. My 360 got RROD and I reset it, it worked. Then it got RROD again I abused it till it worked and then the towel trick. Now its got the permanent RRoD. Thanks for the help Natewlie. I used my Buffalo 500GB External Hard Drive as a Hard Drive for my Xbox. You think that had to do with anything about the 360's error? My hard drive doesn't connect to my PC either now. :/
