Does anyone know if they have new site already. The original one got taken down and after establishing a second site, that got taken down as well. Has a third one popped out already? Can anyone give a link to that or a link to a good alternative?

    There are torrents.

I know. But since I don't use torrents as they are very unreliable and too dependent on seeders, I'd rather have a trusted site with direct downloads. If I used torrents, I wouldn't be in romulation right now, would I?

Um...Yeah. You would be in RomUlation right now if you were using torrents...

Wait... what are you asking for exactly OP?

    Comic book sites?

search your comic book name, issues you want and add cbr at the end. That should fetch ya some. Also might want to try a Direct Download search engine like filestube.com instead of google.

Actually, filestube is how I found out about Comics Invasion in the first place. I've been using it to find another site as well as searching for cbr files on Google but all of the sites have either:

    1. A very limited selection.
    2. Menu's that lead to nowhere and have no search options.
    3. Both 1 and 2.

So far I have yet to find a something that matches both the convenience and the vast library of Comics Invasion.

You fail to see my point. This is a direct download site. If I used torrents, why the hell would I spend time waiting for roms here when we all know that torrents get the roms earlier. Fact of the matter is, you're not helping and only sound condescending. If I wanted torrents then I would have been asking at a torrent site like piratebay and not a direct download site.

    Yup. Know any?

Hmm...I've found some REALLY obscure comics on this site: http://www.taringa.net/ but it's not a comics site per se, it's got a lot of stuff. But as I said I've found some obscure stuff there (one example being every issue of animaniacs comics and those nintendo comics from the late 80s.

It IS a spanish site, so make sure you check the posts for "ingles" for english comics. It may also help if you translate terms but to find my stuff I didn't have to.

Uploaders link to DDL sites like MU, RS etc from there, like blog posts.

    Give 'er a go.

and here's the page I got the animaniacs comics from as an example. I believe it is currently the only page on the net with all of them as DDLs.

I don't know any, but have you tried the ones on the Anime/Manga & Cartoon sub-forum:

    These to be exact:

Yup. Those were the threads I tried immediately the day after CI got whacked. Most of the links are either for dead sites or as I've previously mentioned, sites that have a very limited collection.

Btw, just to be clear I was looking for American comics. Manga is fairly easy to get. I really need a new place to get the new issues of Fable as well as some Marvel, Vertigo and Indie titles.
