Avatar, Display pic

    Im kinda new to the whole forum thingy so do any of you guys know how to get an avatar/display pic thingy under you name when you post something. It was so much easier on subeta... sigh

    I just uploaded it to this site...
    www.imageshack.us

    and copied the link it gave me into the "I have my own pic" option in the profile.

    Just to add to this for the benefit of future members needing help with this: some free website hosts such as tripod do not allow images on their servers to be linked on other sites. If this is the case, then use either www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com for your avatar image

    Is anybody out there? . . . waiting . . . anyways i know how to upload my avatar but i kinda need an idea as to the size; oh and one more thing, how do you make the large pic appear in the bottem of your posts? Your help is much appreciated:)

    Yes we're out here; however, we don't monitor the forum 24/7, so if we don't respond within 10 minutes then give it a little more time, usually someone will respond once the person sees it.

    An avatar can be 65 pixels in both height and width, anymore and it will be resized.

    So an avatar can be 65 pixels by 65 pixels but how do you upload it in the first place?
    I could use some help with that.

    Go to Profile then Forum Profile Information

    you can set it there.
